The lowly, humble 19 mm spacer or standoff is nothing more than a thick washer, right?  The answer is not when it comes to the atomLink 19 mm spacer.  Don’t get us wrong; we are not saying this spacing is an engineering wonder, but it is far more than one would expect.  Since both ends carry the atomLink signature nibbed disc indexing system, it can be added to any atomLink component.  This includes every quick scan and cockpit mount system. 

The outside cylinder is fluted, much like a revolver’s cylinder, to maximize compression strength.  Each flute can be aligned over its mating half of the shell to allow the external indexing marks to be located virtually anywhere around the body.  This is handy when setting an instrument to an exact position.  Every al-spacer is manufactured in an ISO 9001 facility in the Midwest.  It is assembled and shipped from the plant here in Columbus, Nebraska.

The 19 mm spacer includes a mating al-nibbed disc, a long 5mm stainless steel screw, and a silicone friction O-ring in red, yellow, blue, or black.  These screws allow the application of the spacer between two atomLink bodies or between an al-body and a viPod dampener.  Additionally, each unit comes with either a red, yellow, blue, or black friction ring, in addition to the screws and disc.
