Once the old bases are removed, turn counterclockwise to remove old bases from their aluminum post.  Screw on new bases until fully seated before attaching bases to prepped shield. Clamp bases using spring clamps and allow the tape to cure in a warm room (75 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer) for 24 hours before using wing-tip. Warning: Discontinue use if bases or other components show signs of bond or stress failure.
